Are you a soulful creative sort?
A traveler? A nomad? A vagabonding storyteller?
Or even just a dreamer who dreams with a pen....
Then you are invited to join us for a special weekend writing experience.
June 26-28th will feature a weekend of writing workshops with Iowa Nonfiction graduate and DePaul University professor, Michele Morano. It will focus on how we experience, capture, and describe those moments while we travel which inspire us to live deeply and soulfully and remind us that we are part of a greater culture. The workshop is open to all writers who would like to delve further into their craft.
The event will be held at the historic Emma Harvat House in Iowa City, a space once home to the city's patron lady-mayor, and now used to as a special event space to inspire writers and surround them in creativity. Friday night's wine and cheese reception kicks things off in convivial style with Saturday and Sunday for creation, learning and sharing.
