The Iowa Writers' House is a community literary organization dedicated to creating a space for education, support, and resources for writers. Our Writers' Rooms are sub-communities of the house that bring together writers of shared interest or genre to free-write, respond to prompts, learn together, and find support for their work.

The Rainbow Room will focus on LGBT literature and provide opportunities for LGBT writers to share and write in a safe, supportive, and creative space.
